The Fort of Exilles houses two permanent museum areas and offers two guided visitor routes enriched by theatrical sets of great evocative impact conceived by the artist Richi Ferrero.
The museum area of the Alpine troops is situated in the spaces of the Royal Battery, the Fort's main front of fire. Great glass showcases, like huge aquariums, contain
forty-four uniforms that trace the history of the heroic military corps of the Alpini, from its origins to our days.
